StarkWare Launches OffMarket for Private Polymarket Trades
Zero-knowledge proof layer lets prediction market users trade without exposing positions to public view.

StarkWare opened OffMarket to the public on October 14, 2026, giving Polymarket users a way to trade prediction market positions without those trades appearing linked to their on-chain accounts, according to The Block.
Why It Matters
Privacy has been a persistent friction point in on-chain prediction markets: every position on Polymarket is publicly visible, exposing traders' strategies and exposing them to front-running or social pressure. OffMarket routes trades through StarkWare's zero-knowledge proof infrastructure, decoupling a wallet's public identity from its market positions. For high-volume or politically sensitive bets — elections, regulatory outcomes — that separation carries real value. Gambling always involves risk, and adding a privacy layer does not change the underlying market dynamics or the possibility of loss.
Context
StarkWare built its reputation on ZK-rollup technology for Ethereum, most notably through StarkEx and StarkNet. Polymarket, the dominant decentralised prediction platform, settled tens of millions of dollars in volume around the 2024 and 2026 election cycles, making it an attractive venue for privacy tooling. OffMarket represents StarkWare's first direct consumer-facing integration with a prediction market platform.
What's Next
StarkWare has not yet disclosed fee structures or volume caps for OffMarket, so watch for those details as the product moves beyond its public launch. Wider adoption will depend on whether Polymarket's existing user base accepts the additional transaction steps that ZK-proof privacy layers typically require.
