Calvin Anderson Wins Eighth WSOP Bracelet in 2026
Anderson takes the WSOP Online $777 Lucky 7's for his third bracelet of the year alone.
Calvin Anderson claimed his eighth career World Series of Poker bracelet this week, taking down the WSOP Online $777 Lucky 7's event for his third bracelet of 2026 alone, according to Card Player.
Why It Matters
Three bracelets in a single calendar year places Anderson in extraordinarily rare company — most professional players retire without winning one. For online poker platforms and their player pools, a dominant performance like this sharpens interest in WSOP Online events and drives registration numbers for remaining 2026 series stops. Bettors tracking prop markets on bracelet leaders and high-volume tournament players should treat Anderson as a primary target for any remaining 2026 WSOP futures. As always, poker outcomes carry inherent variance; past results do not guarantee future performance.
Context
Anderson's eight career bracelets rank him among the most decorated players in WSOP history, a list historically led by Phil Hellmuth's record 17. The $777 Lucky 7's is a WSOP Online format, meaning Anderson secured this win through a digital platform rather than a live felt — a distinction that underscores how seriously the online WSOP circuit now attracts elite talent.
What's Next
Anderson's pace in 2026 makes him the clear player to watch if additional WSOP Online bracelet events remain on the calendar this year. A fourth bracelet in a single year would be an unprecedented milestone worth monitoring for poker futures markets.
